Launched by Prince William and The Royal Foundation in October 2020, The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environment prize in history. We join in celebrating each of the marvelous recipients in last weeks’ announcement, as well as all the other noble nominees.
The Republic of Costa Rica was the first recipient of this award in the Protecting and Restoring Nature category. This recognition and resulting funds will help the country share its valuable knowledge and practices with other countries around the world.
Given Pax Natura’s longstanding relationship with Costa Rica in their environmental preservation and restoration efforts, we are particularly proud of their achievement. Felicidades, Costa Rica, y pura vida siempre!
